worked eactly twice since i got it. last night i went to watch a PAL DVD and it would show the LG splash screen... then nothing. Power-cycling, changing cables, changing HDMI ports, trying several different PAL and NTSC DVDs... nothing worked. Unit will power up and off, and open tray, but will not play anything. When contacted, the company said "Try and let i sit unplugged for several hours and see if that fixes it." I'm not about to try that, as what happens next time it stops working again? Note that the company doesn't list a warantty of any sort on it's amazon page. That tells you all you need to know. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLAYER. Amazon extended the return window for me and took it back, thank goodness.
