I installed the light just before dark. I live in Florida and waited until it cooled down outside. The sensitivity was defaulted to medium. I walked to the end of my average-sized driveway to test the motion trigger. I had to stand underneath the light for it to trigger. I changed the sensitivity to high and had the same result. It is now the next day and I'm getting alerts with every shadow movement on the driveway and every car that drives in front of my house. So to summarize - it's not effective at night when I need it most and overly effective during the day when I don't need the lighting, but would appreciate the movement notification (if it actually worked). Not sure this will work for me. *****UPDATE******* After just over a year and a half of ownership, nothing has changed. I regret not returning the light. Very rarely does it actually ever turn on when there is movement in the driveway. I turned off the notifications long ago. It's just something that hasn't been removed yet. Provides no value whatsoever.
