I followed the instructions, cleaned the surface of the shower, made sure it was dry, attached the glue strip, then the basket, waited 24 hours before using the shower and it worked for two days before I found it on the shower floor, glue strip and all, with a slight dent in the metal. I only had a bottle of shampoo and a can of shaving cream in the thing. Returning is a hassle and I will not be buying this brand again. I'm glad it worked for others, and quite disappointed it did not work for me. Now I have to purchase a different type.
