★★☆☆☆
Amazon ad says it contains polyphenols, bottle itself does not. Not sure which is accurate.
I've used the Gundry MD Vital Reds formula and bought this one thinking it may be the same thing for a better price. However, this one tastes a lot worse and requires refrigeration, so I can't take it with me wherever I go, unlike the Vital Reds. I liked the price and I'm sure there's still a lot of healthy stuff packed in there, but it felt dramatically different. I felt kind of sick after taking it the first time - not sure if that was because of it's effect on my body or the taste - or maybe something else I ate that day, but it was odd how I felt after using the product. The probiotics worked effectively but seemed TOO dramatic, whereas in comparison to the Vital Reds, it seemed like a more natural, gradual cleanse. Also, I noticed that the bottle doesn't say that it has polyphenols in it. I don't know if "polyphenol" is just more advertising terminology and is actually in any supplement that extracts nutrients from vegetables into powder form, but I specifically was looking for a polyphenol blend and while the Amazon advertisement for Superfood Reds said it contained polyphenols, the bottle itself did not so I wasn't sure what to believe.
In all, I didn't like the experience of using this product and for a little more money, I get all the benefits I'm looking for (clear skin, regular bowels, energy) from the Vital Reds so I'd rather pay the bit extra to get the benefits.
