This timer was installed to control an exhaust fan as part of a bathroom remodeling in the summer, 2010. It worked well for about 9 months, after which the timer began to make very loud and annoying buzzing sound, probably at 60 Hz. During the course of the "count down" the buzzing might quiet down and perhaps even disappear...or it could get even louder. The fan continued to operate properly despite the noise. After about a month of this I called technical support at Leviton (their New York office), and was told they had never heard of the problem. Given that I've already read a few reviews from people having the same problem, either the technician is a moron or it was a blatant lie. Needless to say, I am not impressed with this company
