I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS, BUT i AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THESE BOOTS THAT i'M COMPELLED TO WARN ALL POTENTIAL BUYERS!!! After wearing these boots 2-3 times, I noticed the outside of the heel was starting to FLAKE and peel off. So, not knowing the cause of this, I paid very careful attention the next two times I wore the boots to ensure I wasn't somehow causing this to happen. I am now certain that the damage to the heels is no fault of my own. To be honest, I'm not even sure how I could have caused this damage, short of INTENTIONALLY DRAGGING MY HEELS ALONG THE PAVEMENT WHILE SOMEONE WAS PULLING ME BY THE ARMS. Unfortunately, this appears to be just "typical" wear and tear, after 5-6 wears!!!!! For the price of the boots, THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING!!!! AT THE VERY LEAST, COULD THE COMPANY HAVE USED A MORE HEAVY DUTY PAPER AND/OR GLUE AROUND THE HEEL? As the paper is peeling and flaking off, what I can see of the heel underneath is dirty and stained.
