A few months ago I would have given the Canary Flex 4 stars (even after having to fork out 100 bucks to ship back a faulty device from Australia). However, the most recent (and somewhat stealthy) change to the free/entry level membership plan essentially renders the device useless unless you fork out additional cash for a membership. I can no longer configure how the devices behave when I am at home or away, I can't view full videos of events that were recorded, and I cannot use features that were promised when I purchased the device (two-way-talk). This coupled with the fact there is almost an outage to the service on a daily basis I would recommend you avoid all Canary products like the plague. Having said that, I do know someone selling two Canary Flex devices at a great price, let me know if you are interested!
