I bought three of these lights to place in areas near my back fence and along my sidewalk that the wired light would not reach. They started out perfect, exactly what I was looking for. They were very bright and easy to install. Unfortunately the batteries only lasted about 2 weeks, the solar panels are placed in areas where they are exposed to direct light and kept free from debris on them. The lights are now dead and I even chose the setting where it wouldn't stay on unless motion was detected and then only stayed on for those few seconds. Additionally, the motion detection was not consistent. Sometimes my dog would trigger light, other times not at all. My dog walks the same path in my yard when he's out doing his business, there's no explanation for the inconsistent trigger. Unfortunately when they worked so well, I threw out all the boxing materials otherwise i'd return them as defective. Very unhappy.
