I bought this air purifier for my bedroom as I’m expecting twins and wanted the ensure clean air for all of us. I liked the sleep mode because it was so quiet but it made me wonder how much it’s actually purifying when it barely seems to be running. The high setting is really loud, so I’d never run it at night on that setting and low is so close to sleep mode that I could barely tell the difference. I agree with others there should be a medium mode. My biggest complaint is the smell. As soon as I turned it on it emitted a strong plastic/toxic smell that was bothersome to me and made me question how healthy it really was for me to breathing the air! Shouldn’t an air purifier make the air cleaner, not make it smell? For this reason I’m returning the purifier. Even if it’s something that might go away, I can’t live with it until it does. I was really hoping this would work but now my hunt continues for a small room purifier that actually works well from day one.
