My cat got the hooked end which keeps the cardboard pieces attached got stuck in her paw. I was lucky to be home when it happened. It broke the skin when she got scared about it getting stuck and tried to pull away. That’s probably uncommon but it’s a risk. I’m sure people will still buy this toy because cats definitely love it, but don’t use it unattended or get the one that doesn’t mount to the wall. I don’t often leave reviews but this toy is a potential hazard. To those that produce the product: please weld the hooked end as a cheap and easy fix to this problem. The one pictured in this review is the same product that doesn’t come with the wall attachment. It also doesn’t have blood on it.
