Works As Advertised, But Does Not Last. I had high hopes for these sponges, but was also very skeptical after reading many reviews about how these sponges do not last or hold up. Nevertheless, I decided to purchase them and give them a shot. Pros: They do what they are advertised to do. Design of the sponge allows you to clean spoons forks, etc, with the mouth of the sponge. They get soft in hot water and hard in cold water. They dry rather quickly and do not retain any mildew smell. They can be used all around the house to clean anything, including walls, countertops, tables, etc. They scrub food and grime off dirty dishes really well. The unique design looks adorable resting on your sink or countertop. Cons: There is really one one negative thing about these sponges and that is they do not last. Each sponge will only last about 1 week with normal useage. They start to break down and fall apart almost immediately. Also they will leave tiny pieces of the sponge all over your dishes as they break down. Final Thoughts: If these sponges lasted for about a month or so each, they would be great. But because they break down and fall apart so quickly, they are not worth the price. If they were only $1.00 sponges it might be acceptable, but these are not. They are quite expensive to begin with and for that price you would expect them to last as long as they are advertised to do so. The first sponge only lasted 3 days before it fell apart and the other two lasted about a week each. These sponges are quite unique and I would love to reccommend them, but unfortunately I can not. They do pretty much all they are supposed to do, but they just fall apart too quickly.
