While the Wacom website (and every other review site) touts Chromebook compatibility, it doesn't mention the fact that this tablet requires a Linux kernel version 4.4 or higher (and ChromeOS 87 or higher) to be installed on the Chromebook. There isn't any easy way to upgrade the Linux kernel on these little machines. If you're wondering if your Chromebook will work with this tablet, you can check your kernel version by opening up a terminal tab (Ctrl+Alt+T) and typing "uname -srp" on the command line without the quotes. Any version less than 4.4 will NOT work, so hopefully this will save you some time.
