Since I value my privacy it looks like I will have to return my new Amysen Smart Plugs. I do not agree that I should have to create an account to make devices work in my home. In addition, the devices cannot be configured with the app unless it has internet access. This is a design decision by the manufacturer; an invasive choice they made. I know they say personal information is not shared or sold, but let's be honest -- that's a lie and will change at their convenience without out consent. Although I like the form factor a lot, I have to say the product is a major fail in their setup and configuration choices.
