Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I’ve had several Wet Brushes over the years and I’ve loved them all. My hair is very fine, and it breaks easily when it’s wet. I’ve tried wide tooth combs, but nothing worked as well as the Wet Brush. I hadn’t had one in a while (my son kept swiping mine), so I decided to buy this one. I chose this design because it’s “girly” and designed for kids, so I figured that would keep my son from taking it. That part worked, but the brush itself, not so much. When I initially removed it from the package, it didn’t feel like the others I have owned, but I thought it was just because I hadn’t had one in a while. I figured that it would “break in” as I used it. Unfortunately it hasn’t. It’s actually gotten worse. The bristles have begun to break, and it actually breaks my hair more than my other brushes and combs. Now I can’t even use it. I’m not sure if this is an authentic Wet Brush. In my hand it feels like it’s cheaply made. It’s been well over 30 days since I bought it, so I can’t return it. I’m very disappointed, and I plan to reach out to the company/manufacturer and see if they can help since I’m past the 30 days for Amazon’s return policy. Unfortunately I don’t have the package that it came in (who would think you’d need to keep that?), but I’m hoping the company will help me determine if it is authentic, and whether or not it is, I’m hoping they will help me in replacing it with a Wet Brush that works. I’m hoping that they haven’t just changed the way they make them so that they aren’t as good as they used to be. Hopefully it’s just one bad product out of the bunch and they can help me get a new one that works. I will update my review if they do help me with this. Right now I can’t recommend this for anyone. EDIT: I contacted Wet Brush and they were unwilling to help me because I purchased it from Amazon. They said they only cover brushes bought directly from their website. I’m super disappointed. Thankfully I found a different brush here on Amazon that’s absolutely perfect for my hair. Just still frustrated that I just threw this money away. Definitely disappointed in Wet Brush, and I won’t be buying their products in the future!
