This product was great at first! As I was on a video faculty meeting (using the light to help illuminate my face/apartment), I heard a noise, looked over to the wall, saw sparks coming from the wall outlet where this was plugged up, promptly pulled it out of the wall and then I saw a very black smoke smoldering from the wall outlet. The cord to the wall was VERY HOT. If I hadn’t have been sitting right there, it could have caught my apartment on fire! This is not an apartment with old electrical and I’ve lived here 10 years and never had a problem with any outlet. This was not an outlet problem, it is a product problem. I am very disappointed because I was looking Very forward to using this to make myself look better on the virtual meeting platform we are having to use right now because of COVID-19.
