I am a huge fan of the Soda Stream machines and have had their standard unit for over two years and use it so much we have 3 bottles of CO2 so we don't run out. I saw the Aqua Fizz system with the glass bottles and had no problem spending the money as I knew we but a lot of use on our current system without any problems. The Aqua Fizz system does not work effectively in adding carbonation while allowing the system to release the build up of pressure. If you were to use the guidelines of 2 seconds burst you need to push it 4 to 6 times and at that point instead of just releasing the pressure it also dumps out water. With the design of the Aqua Fizz system the water will pool in the bottom of the canister and above in the chamber. So after a couple uses you have to turn the unit over in the sink to release the excess water inside. I am concerned that I may not be getting all of the water out and wondering if it will start to grow mold from the moisture inside. I really wanted to like the Aqua Fizz system but at this point I cannot recommend it and would recommend you use one of their other systems instead.
