The only thing these units find are your wallet..... to buy them. After that, worthless. 1. The battery life is pathetic. First time I lost my keys I think, "Awesome, I have a TrackR, this will be easy." Dead battery. found keys the old fashioned way (cursing, teeth gnashing, etc) and put in a new battery. Few weeks later I check it. Dead. Jeeeeez!!! 2. When the battery works, the unit still has no value. Lost keys this morning. Whip out Trackr App. "searching". Wander around the yard, garden, garage hoping it will get in range. Nothing. Peek in the window of truck, "THERE THEY ARE"! (right on the console) I look at the app.... "searching" Dude, it's right there!!! Open the door of the truck. "searching". WTF??? It did not "find" them until the phone was literally touching the Trackr . So I keep the app open and put the keys in my pants pocket. "searching" Really? REALLY????? Total waste of the 30 bucks or so I spent. Have a second one I have never used, both are going in the trash. What a joke. Save your money and make and extra set or 2 of all your keys. These devices are not worth the crappy plastic they are made out of.
