Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I was encouraged by the blurb and high reviews, and was looking for an intro to philosophy and logic book for kids. THIS IS NOT IT. This book is very sneaky with some really problematic and outdated descriptions. Very little detail is actually gone over when it comes to logical fallacies, and are frequently incorrectly described. More words are spent being critical of behaviors and beliefs, or for misogynistic jokes. Frankly, it’s concerning that this book seems to be popular and highly rated, given the content. I consider myself to be pretty savvy, but I read four chapters before I really understood that this is fundamentalist propaganda. There are much better resources to learn the foundations of philosophy and logic.
