The jack actually seemed very well made for the price. The wide base was very stable. But the drive screw galled up and failed on the first use when raising a medium sized family sedan. The screw was clean and had a light coat of EP30 grease. Had to work it hard to get the jack down and out from under the car. Luckily I was in the garage. Looks like it's just a low carbon steel screw intended for very light duty. Not worth the risk of getting another and having it fail on the roadside so I returned it for a refund. Amazon, as always took care of that immediately. I give Amazon 5 stars for their customer service.
