Not good for floor cover
This product is aesthetically pleasing, durable and thick enough to provide protection of floors. However, they are not well manufactured. I purchased to cover a large area (~15x15'). The first problem to note, is that they are not actually 20" tiles, but instead 19.5"; this may be important if you are trying to buy enough tiles. The manufacturer decided to use pins to secure multiple tiles together; this is a huge mistake. Besides being extremely difficult to get them together (when laying over a large area) without breaking the pins, the pre-drilled holes were not always made. Trying to do this yourself with a drill is more challenging then you might expect because a wood bit moves all over when trying to go through the rubber. The tiles are not cut perfectly straight, so when you lay a large floor you end up with gaps ranging from 1/16" to 1/4" all over. This means any spills would require completely disassembling which could take hours. The quality is great, but the flaws in design and manufacturing do not make this product suitable for a large floor cover. Had they stuck with the dovetails on most every other exercise mat, it would probably fit better and get a 5 star rating. Another note about these tiles, they are slippery when wearing rubber shoes. This may be an issue as in my case, when you are using it for a home gym. Anytime you need leverage (stretching or certain exercises), you will lose traction. Another example, when I use my rowing machine, I have had to put another mat between otherwise the rower slides across the mats with every stroke.
