Poor Quality, Poor Service, Poor Corporate Policy
The TP-Link Archer AX6000 worked for 4 days before it started intermittently loosing connections on the 2.4G band. By day 6 the 2.4G band stopped funtioning at all. I have three printers and a number of IOT devices that only work on the 3.4G band and none of the are accessable now. The TP-Link support personnel are friendly and do their best to help but link most consumer electronics support groups, the have little training, especially on diagnosing actual broken products. Their training, if any, appears based on the assumptions that all problems are user/configuration problems. In addition, TP-Link is overly ridged with their policies and have no path to circumvent them when there are unusual circumstances. I cannot recommend that anyone purchase a TP-Link product. I purchased two TP-Link products within a couple of days of each other and experienced problems with both. P.S. TP-Link refused to take a return for refund after only the unit went belly up after only 7 days of use. They will only replace the unit and for that, you have to pay shipping which in my case was $24+ by FEDEX ground. which was the cheapest. I hope to good that FEDEX loses it or destroys it as that is the only way I can get my money back and I certainly do not want another TP-Link product. It took 3 more days once TP-Link admitted the unit was defective just to get an RMA number. The instructions state that it may take upto 5 says after they receive the defective unit to process the return and then they will "graciously" ship it free of charge back to you by the economical, "hence the slowest", method possible. However, the will ship it by a faster method if you are willing to pay. I think there is something rotten in Denmark or rather Amazon that this unit is listed as an "Amazon's choice". I also have questions about Amazon's rating system when this unit has a four star rating when there are 12 pages, yes that pages not individual, of 1 star reviews for a WiFi 6 router. Someone has to be skewing the numbers as WiFi 6 has not been out that long. Amazon will not help you with this router. When they say this unit comes with Amazon support, they mean that when you call them, they will conference in TP-Link support and remain silent in the background. I feel very sorry for anyone who buys a TP-Link product, especially this router. Reading the one star reviews confirms there is a definite problem with the 2.4G band and TP-Link has done nothing to fix it. I a wandering if there are enough customer's with defective units to start a class action law suite to for TP-Link to either fix the problem or refund our money!!!!!!
