I was lucky enough to find an Aerogarden at a thrift store that included a few 7-pod kits that were packaged back in 2008! So, I found myself in a unique position to be able to compare their old grow pods with their current ones. And I have to say, the quality has significantly diminished! As you can see in the photos, the quality difference is obvious - they used to include a thick, colored instructional booklet that was tailored to the plants you were trying to grow...now they just include a black-and-white, generic booklet that doesn't provide clear instructions. Also, the pods were packaged better and more safely in the old packages, whereas the new packages are flimsy and allow the pods to tumble around. Overall, they have clearly let the quality drop over time as is evident when you compare them side-by-side. Please return to your old ways!
