I really wanted to like this lock, I really did. The pro's were: Easy installation The ability to use a regular key if the batteries died Roughly the same size knob as a regular door handle Unfortunately after a few months of owning this, certain numbers have gone out completely. It started out as the illuminated pad not working, then certain numbers only working after hitting the unlock button once and now I come home to find it completely dead on the top half for numbers. Thankfully the key still worked. I'm not sure it's worth my time to try to get a replacement as it seems to be cheap construction and will most likely happen again. I think the frequency of seeing issues depends on how much you use it, I used it for a bedroom door which was only used once or twice daily, so I imagine on a more busy entryway you would see problems sooner. Look for another product as this one might lock you out if it fails.
