Let me start off by saying that I do not leave reviews very often. I feel the need to warn people who may be deceived by these blinds. We recently received them as a wedding gift and just got around to installing them. They looked great during the day, but as soon as it got dark... complete transparency. If you stand in the middle of our street, it doesn’t even appear that there are blinds up at all! I tried to return them and was told by the company that it was past the 30 return policy. Understandable (although we did receive them as a gift, just recently.. I understand that policy and concept.) I was also told that the product description states they are “not completely private.” This is not accurate. They are not even a little bit private. THEY ARE COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT. I guess they have a different definition of privacy. Long story short, do not buy if you are looking for a blind that you can’t see through. I am not entirely sure what the point of these blinds are. For the price our gifters paid, we are all very disappointed. Now I have to spend even more money to figure out how to make them private. Considering adding some fabric or cloth material to the back and hoping it helps. See pictures for examples.
