I'm pretty sure my first comforter was an Amazon basic and it was really nice and lasted me six years before a bed bug infestation required I get a new one. So I bought the black Amazon basic. When it arrived and I removed it from the packaging, right away I noticed the stitching was terrible. There were loose threads all along the edge and sure enough as I followed the edge I found a hole before I even used the comforter! Because my first one was great, I'm ordering a replacement but I worry the quality has plummeted.
