On the plus side. Got this thing quick with amazon prime. Happy about that. And it works as stated by others. Will boil water faster than even a gas stove. Really amazing and I cook with it all the time. So why did I give it a 1 star? I could not in good conscience give it any more simply because it is not safe. It says in the owners manual not to leave it plugged in and they mean it. Many nights I have woken up to it beeping because it turned on randomly and nothing was on it. A few times I woke up to a house full of smoke because I left the pan on it and it once again turned on randomly. And just now, I had made a pot of Chicken and Dumplins, leaving the pot on the burner till dinner was over, it once again kicked on. House is full of smoke from the burnt food. I recommend you find one with a manual on off switch, the one on this one is extremely faulty. Like I said, the thing works, and it works well, but it is dangerous, and I don't want you to risk your families life on it.
