Please only use the seat as directed. We did not have the straps on the seat because, honestly, we didn't know there were straps. We popped it out of the bag, set it up and started using it. Super easy. In too much of a hurry I suppose. The straps were tucked away in a pocket of the travel bag and we just weren't aware. Our little 11 month old boy pushed himself backwards in this seat and fractured his skull. He needed an emergency craniotomy for a blood clot on his brain, a blood transfusion and will have titanium screws in his head for the rest of his life. The medical bills are $150,000 and counting. Please use the straps!! Seriously. He will recover but it could have easily gone so much worse. Otherwise, the seat is what it is. It is WAY too hard to get the tray on and off and the waist straps are so awkward. We probably won't ever use it again though. Too many bad memories.
