I love Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides and have used them for over a year+. This particular purchase from Amazon is very different from the ones I have purchased from VP direct and other stores. VP Collagen Peptides is typically pure white, and fine, almost sift-like powder which dissolves immediately in hot liquids and very quickly in room temperature/cool liquids. There is no residue and no taste differential. This Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides product from Amazon has none of these characteristics. The Amazon sold Vital Proteins product is off-white, more granular, hard to dissolve, makes clear water have a very slightly brownish tinge and has a bit of a taste (very subtle, but there is a taste difference). I have addressed this issue with Vital Proteins directly and I will amend this comment upon receiving an explanation from them or plan from them to address why/how this occurred. The Vital Proteins Collagen Peptide is so good, however, the one I purchased from Amazon is not. Other Amazon reviewers have detailed the same experience. Be careful and forewarned if you choose to buy from here.
