My bean mash ended up with hundreds of little blue shreds. We picked them out as we ate but probably ate a bunch of plastic (didn't have the heart to throw out my first batch of truffle bean mash, instead we googled how dangerous it is to eat plastic ha!). I figured a flat pot would not be a problem, but as you can see in the image it left cuts all over the place. All of this was on low setting and only a few moments of use. Never had a hand blender that cuts out material out of bowls and pots. It's a powerful blender, more powerful than I need I realized. It's also very heavy. Returning it.
