After 35 years of Mr. Coffee, I believe I am going to have to switch coffee makers. I just purchased this model because it matched my last one. Thinking I would have an extra carafe if needed and I loved that machine. We also liked the automatic shut off feature. Very disappointed! The machine rocks backwards when filling with water. The filter cup does not come off easily. There are two plastic pins that have to line up to get it in and out. Other reviewers state the pins will eventually break off. The filter cup uses a paper liner or a reusable. We have both, but you still need to be able to remove the cup to clean it. It's a struggle to get it to fit back in after washing. This is a most frustrating way to start my day! Why do we redesign a perfectly good machine and make it worse? I've always liked Mr. COffee, an affordable machine and a great brew. NOT anymore.
