I bought my Wyze Outdoor Camera starter kit directly from Wyze because it wasn't available on Amazon yet. Long story short, you're paying for a beta quality product that should never have gone into production yet. Going through the Wyze forums, one can see technical support is completely overwhelmed by all the e-mails from customers looking for help and the a four-day delay before getting a response is considered excellent. Some are saying it's been over a month and they're still waiting. Bottom line: if you want to take it hiking or something like that, it will probably work fine. If you want it for securing your house, wait until at least version two otherwise you'll be disappointed.
