This was my first foray into rose water, and while initially I thought it to be nice for both face and flavoring, it turns out this is not REAL rose water at all. Authentic rose water comes from the distillation process of making rose oil as a pure byproduct. Heritage "rosewater" is simply distilled water with rose oil added - NOT the same thing at all. After visiting some Indian and Middle Eastern markets and purchasing the REAL thing, the scent, performance and flavor of the Heritage product doesn't compare at all. Do yourself a favor and buy a $3 bottle of 100% natural distilled rose water and experience the difference. Reading the labels is paramount.
