the case itself is good, maybe not $80 good, its a step down from their 340 case which i also own. the whole hitch in this is their VERY poor fan controller. it worked for 2 days, then stopped turning on any of the fans plugged into it. lucky i noticed this quickly b4 any heat damage was done to any of my components. they have a non "I" mod 500, not the 500I. get that instead. the price mark up is not worth the few different lighting effect with two small led strips that are included that is also controller by the same box that the fans are plugged into which breaks. ur better off buying the base case, and buying a different brand of LED strips and box controller. ill be reaching out to the company to see their response to this and update my review. **update** iv noticed a low toned, but load hum from my case, at first i thought this was the stock CPU cooled, i replaced that now i notice its the glass itself slightly wiggling again the top of the case. the top of the case is cheap and very wobbly, it comes down to rest on the top of the glass. this would not a issue with other cases that have the 4 corner mounting for the glass, but this case had s single screw to hold the panel in place in the top back corner. this gives it allot of freedom and so it hums. i "fixed" the problem by folding a small cloth on the top of the front top corner of the glass and closing the cloth in the case so less vibration happens. **update** 12/13/18 contacted the company, they don't seem to care to much and give me the run around for two weeks. but that does not bug me much, i would not use their fan controller again even if they replaced it with a working 1. so i original review stands. get the Non "I" model for cheaper, and buy some different led strips if u really wanted the light effects. the light controller included with the included led strips are not that great anyway, and have very few effects. worst is that both use a special plug in to work that u can only find with nzxt, so u are trapped using only their led OVERPRICED led lights. best to go els where unless u can get it on sell or clearance, then just don't plug ur fans into it.
