Do not bother- I bought this kettle 6 months ago. It now takes almost 7 minutes to boil. Today I went to put the lid back on and the handle snapped off the lid. I bought a warranty with Assurion when I purchased it through Amazon so I called them, they said the manufacturers warranty is still good for 1 year so I called Bella- they said they are out of lids and that I should call them in about 4 weeks...in the meantime I can't get the lid off my kettle to fill it!..... What type of customer service is that!? I asked if the fact that they are out of lids might reflect that this is a manufacturing flaw to which they had no response. I asked for an entirely new kettle since I was not willing to wait 4 weeks and they said no, absolutely the worst customer service experience that I have ever had. Save yourself the money, buy from another brand.
