For Fashion ONLY. Would NOT trust these to protect my kid. Very thin and flimsy. (I cut one apart (seperate video) and yes, technically they have 4 layers but they are so flimsy I couldn't separate the inner layers without them falling apart.) Like very, very cheap tp. Exterior ABSORBS water. It should repell it. (See video. I use another kids disposable, a KN95, a "fancy" thick 3 layer fabric mask and a flimsy 2 layer cloth mask from a big box store. They all repell the water to some degree. (The big box store mask would fail soon after I stopped filming.) But THESE 4-ply kids disposables masks failed horribly. - One absorbed water immediately - One absorbed water after a few seconds - One held out the water somewhat. (About as well as the thin fabric one.) So only 1 out of 3 randomly selected & fresh out of the box masks sorta passed my diy water test. Also, the 1st one out of the box had the strap weld brake when my son tried to put on. These are getting returned.
