I only bought this because it was recommended by my dentist. I've always felt a tingling, burning sensation when using the second step, the whitening polish gel, but after this third use, it left a white mark on my gums that turned red after a few minutes. When I looked in the mirror before bed, my upper gums were inflamed and as a result, extending downwards very slightly. My teeth SEEM a little whiter, but I also have some white spots on my teeth that you can see in the light, so I'm concerned about my enamel. I'm afraid to keep going on with this product and end up with a smile that's more gum than teeth, and I'm super upset because this product was pricey. Brushing your teeth should not be this painful, definitely not worth it. I would just stick to a normal, twice a day brushing + flossing routine with standard toothpaste and best practices (for example, changing your toothbrush/toothbrush head every 3-4 months or so, for firm bristles that clean your teeth effectively). Remember: advertisers spend a lot of money to make their products seem like gold, but don't buy into it. Consult professionals and see what they use.
