Feb 2020 update: The teflon material began to crack to where you could see lines in the bottom of the pan to what looked to be the core metal of the pan itself - very disappointing. We have a complete set of All-Clad pots/pans thus we have rediscovered how easy they are took cook with and clean up - for everything except eggs. After doing some research online looking for non-toxic/non stick pans; we went with an 11" green pan. We actually we own All Clad pans with the copper core - very nice and $$$. We've gone through a mix of teflon, ceramic, etc pans for cooking eggs and foods that stick vs the stainless steel All Clads. After retiring another pan in 2015 due to loss of coating, we went with: T-fal E93808 Professional Total Nonstick Thermo-Spot Heat Indicator Fry Pan, 12.5 Inch, Black @ $24.95 That decision was based on the many on-line positive reviews. Recently I noticed the Thermo-Spot Heat Indicator was fading and food seemed to stick more often. After reading more reviews and coming back to the T-fal option, I came upon the reviews for this pair of All-Clad. One users comment: " $60 for 2 All-Clad, how can you go wrong!" I cooked with the larger pan this morning. I cooked up a batch of maple sausages, then fried up some eggs over easy. Before I was half way through cooking the sausage, I noticed they were not sticking at all. I didn't even need to turn them much as they continued to slide around in the pan while cooking. Same for the Eggs. Attached is a video I took while finishing the sausages. I took the picture after cooking the eggs. I was equally impressed I was able to wipe out all the food/oil residue with a paper towel. Its only the first time cooking with these but they are way better already than any other pan we've used for eggs and sticky foods Highly recommend!
