Mine was inaccurate
I have an LED scale which I have had for some time now, and wasn't sure if it was accurate any more, even though it was a nice, new style scale WITHOUT the necessity of an app to work. I was excited to try one of these new ones that are out. I had a doctor's appointment, which is about 10 minutes from my house. At that appt. they took my weight on their high-end LED scale which reading came up showing my weight was 116. I drove home and wearing the exact clothing I had on when I got on the scale at the doctor's office, I stepped on my new scale as I wanted to see that it was giving me a correct reading. This Wyze scale said my weight was 113; a three (3) lb. difference. For me, that's just not acceptable. I stepped on my scale I've had for a few years, and it said I was 116. For this reason alone I knew I was returning it. But I also found I did not like having a scale which I needed to go and get my phone and open the app in order for it to work. In a day's time, it became inconvenient for me as I couldn't just step on the scale as I was passing by it and decided I wanted to; I had to go get my phone open the app and then get on it for it to work. That for me was a big NO. IMO, it should work both ways, with or without the app, as honestly I do not care about the other readings it gives you - just the weight was all I required. Anyway, many may find it to their liking, but for me I did not, and the fact the weight reading was off by 3 lbs. was totally unacceptable and so unfortunately I had to return it. It was boxed nicely and is an attractive scale.
