Based on this is an Amazon’s Choice product I purchased a pack of these runners and a package of refills to give to each lady at a scrapbooking party I hosted. We all have plenty of experience using tape runners but I had never tried this brand before. I thought this would be a nice product to give my friends but I was embarrassed to discover I was giving them an inferior product. I had purchased 4 of the same scrapbook kit from a well-known, highly reputable scrapbooking company to give each of my friends as a special thank you for their friendship. They were not cheap and the materials were high quality. I planned for a fun day of putting our kits together but from the first swipe the tape runner gave us problems. We even practiced on scrap paper to see if we could figure out how best to use them. The adhesive didn’t distribute evenly or sometimes it didn’t come off at all. The worst thing is it would pull up the paper and tear it. I’ve never had that happen before with any of the other numerous tape runner brands I have used. After ruining several of our pages or embellishments I searched my supplies for any other tape runners and adhesives we could use instead. I’ve included a photo showing the torn paper stuck to the tape runner. Thank goodness this tape runner didn’t ruin our friend scrapbooking day but I am giving this review so it doesn’t ruin anybody else’s either.
