Before You Eat This Product!.....
The product is sold as edible glitter. I purchased it for that reason. The description says it is non-toxic. No where on the container does it say it is edible. Childrens' glue and crayons are also non-toxic. This simply means the product will not harm you if accidentally ingested. That does not mean that it is meant for human consumption. The FDA states that any product sold as edible glitter must clearly have the ingredients listed on the label in addition to the word "EDIBLE." It further goes on to WARN consumers away from any company's product that is labeled only as *NON-TOXIC*. I searched oh sweet art's website and store only to find there are NO INGREDIENTS listed ANYWHERE! The only products they sell that state that they are FDA approved are some of their molds. Please follow the guidelines of the FDA and don't ingest this. Even the company itself doesn't list their glitter as edible.
