How can you screw up buying a toaster. READ ON
Buying a toaster is like closing your eyes and swatting at a mosquito, you might get lucky but probably not. I read reviews of $200 toasters and $20 toasters and researched dozens. The chief complaints were all the same ... unreliable, cooks uneven and had to return it. So, I decided against the Breville Die Cast toaster I really wanted because two people wrote a crappy review. Instead I chose the top-of-the-line Oster, the cute one for $50. It cooks unevenly, burns the bottom half of my toast, the bagel function doesn't work at all and I'm returning it. It gets 1 star because it's cute. I'll close my eyes and swat at another one.
