I purchased this item, primarily to be used with the suction cup adapter, hoping to use it to change track lights in my high ceilings. From the very first time I used it, attaching the suction cup to a bulb, instead of the light bulb unscrewing when turning the pole, the suction cup would come unscrewed from the adapter and have to be pulled off the bulb. This is not the adapter coming loose from the pole because I failed to tighten it. This is the adapter itself coming apart because it was poorly made. As can be seen in the attached photo, with all the ways to attach the suction cup to the adapter, the makers of this product chose to attache it by a screw... so of course it can come unscrewed every time it is used. I screwed the suction cup back on multiple times and every single time i attempted to unscrew a light bulb, the suction cup always came off, no matter how lightly I turned the pole. Complete waste of money. No.
