This hose reel has cheap metal hose connectors that are painted to look like brass. Why is that a big deal? The (Chinese?) manufacturer of those parts used a substandard metal that sheared/broke in my first season of use, the other connecting parts rusted, unlike brass fittings they try to imitate. The break (as I have seen in cheap screws and metal parts manufactured without any quality control) makes it impossible to connect my supply hose properly to the reel, and the part is impossible to repair, rendering an otherwise good product completely useless. BEWARE
