Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I've had the AP-1512HH air purifier since 2017 and have mostly been pleased with it. However, on recently replacing my HEPA filter, I noticed a strong chemical odor that did not dissipate even after running for a few hours (I had to put it in an unused room, as the smell was strong enough to bother anyone who came near it). After returning the filter and getting a replacement, I found the replacement had the same exact problem. From reading other reviews on Amazon, I see this appears to be the trend. Very disappointed. I purchased official Coway replacement filters because I care about the quality of the air I breathe. Given the quality of these replacements, and the shared complaints I've seen from others, I've come to the conclusion that Coway doesn't care about my air quality nearly as much as I do. I can't say I'll be able to trust my health to any of their other products after this.
