I ordered this pool for our grandchildren because we are building a house and will be pool-less this summer. I figured it would suffice for a season. Ordered the sand filter because the reviews said that the filter came with the pool was garbage. Let me start off by saying that the instructions were abysmal; on the box it says 30 minute assembly. Ha ha. It took 30 minutes to unpack the components and figure out what went where. The instructions showed parts that aren't included with the pool so we were constantly confused about how to proceed. From what we could see, it appeared that we were shorted the control valves, parts that fit on the outside of the pool to control backflow when emptying the skimmer basket on the pump. When I contacted the company by email (there is no way to call them), I got a message that they would call me within two business days. They did, in fact call me back, but of course I was unable to answer the phone so had to return the call and was on hold for 10 minutes before someone cam on to "help" me. That was a joke. When I requested that I speak with a supervisor, I was connected and informed that this model does not have the capability to fit control valves, even though a much smaller inflatable pool has them. So now, when we want to empty the skimmer basket on the pump, we have to unscrew parts on the inside of the pool and put in plugs so that the water doesn't come pouring out of the pump basket. What kind of a set up is this? I think that the pool will be adequate for one season, which is all we need it for, but I wouldn't recommend it for a long term solution. I would like to add that there were absolutely NO instructions about how to take care of the pool once it is set up; from having and in-ground pool for 30 plus years we know that there are several parameters that must be maintained, but there is not a single word about this in the directions. NOT impressed.
