I would have given this product zero stars, if that option had been available. But it was not. So, I gave it one star. I don't know where to begin -- or whether my biggest complaint is with Clairol or with Amazon. I will start with Clairol. First, I was very happy with the previous formulation of the product. It was easy to use, I loved the color (5C, medium brown). Then, they went and changed the formulation, and (at the same time) Amazon changed the method of ordering it. First, the formulation. It is much harder to use in all ways -- at least, for me. The color cream is now thick (it used to be a liquid), and extremely difficult to mix together. But, the rest of my complaint is with Amazon. In the past, one could click on the color one wanted. Not so easy to do now. For some reason, I was led to the dark brown, instead of the medium brown. I therefore thought the medium brown was no longer available, so I ordered the dark brown. Hate it. Turns out (after a long phone call with Clairol customer service) the medium brown was still available, although difficult to access on this site. In short, I am completely disgusted with both Amazon and Clairol. I don't know if I will be using either in the future.
