After reading the great reviews I decided this would be great for our small house and an excellent way to keep our tiny little poop-hounds out of the litterbox. It's aesthetically pleasing, looks very easy to clean, is tall enough to keep an elderly pug and an old, blind pomeranian out of their favorite snack. Or would have been, if the cat had ever actually used it. He went on top of it, around it, behind it, even attempted to get under it... but wouldn't go IN it. I did all the things... put him in it, put some of his poop in it, did little diggy motions with his paws in it... After 7 days of a sparkling clean litter box with only one piece of poo in it (that I put there) it was removed and the old box returned. Maybe it was a deal the cat made with the dogs, I dunno...
