Plastic is plastic, steel is steel, steel is stronger.
I used once to change oil on my 2005 BMW X5. These ramps have a wider foot print for large tires and 16,000 lb weight limit so my car is not too big for these ramps. When I went to store them in my shed I noticed the sides were bending in. Checked to see why, it looks like the hole on the side is where the bend started and won't go back to proper lineup. I followed all the manufactures instructions, ramps where on level concrete, tires were lined up correctly without any overlap. Design defect or rating of weight limit is wrong. Didn't feel comfortable enough to use again.Sent back to Amazon and was refunded my money, lesson learned, getting steel ramps for next oil change.
