Bottom line: it’s just not as good as a blender ball shaker in any measurable way, and it has extra problems. Most annoying problem - the underside of the topper hinge part has a cavity (the blender ball has this part filled in with a convex “bubble”). This is problematic because it drips on my my face and forehead when drinkIng from the bottle. REALLY annoying. It mixes up whey protein well, but won’t completely mix up casein protein powder. Cakes in the corners at the bottom. The blender ball does a much better job here. Physically the thing is much larger than a blender ball shaker, which makes it harder to hold. Good things about it: it’s well made.... but so is the blender ball shaker. Even if it were the same price, there is literally no reason to buy this shaker over the blender ball, because it’s main design feature (no ball) makes it ineffective.... but it’s not the same price. It’s over twice as expensive. Skip this. Get a blender ball instead.
