This story just didn't make a lot of sense. Too many elements to the plot that were implausible...i.e. the 'accident' that was one major plot- line throughout parts of the story would in reality have been a major case of nearly unbelievable bungling and incompetence by authorities; The years-old antagonism and near hatred between the brothers who had been so close throughout most of their lives, due to their suspicion of one's actions...they never really talked it out?? or believed their brother??; the early birth that wasn't questioned by one main character, even though he knew the mother had been sleeping with someone else right before the marriage; the 'psychic' at the hotel. I could go on forever about things that just didn't add up. Then there was the unnecessary and disgusting addition of F-bombs from one young girl, to say nothing of a surprising and much too graphic sex scene involving 2 main characters...after they had known each other for only a few days. Rampant immorality from nearly every character in the book. That was the final nail in the coffin for me....won't be investing in any more of this series, or in any other of this author's books. I don't appreciate crude profanity or graphic sex in the books I read.
